Malaysia's edotco enters Myanmar

Malaysia's edotco Group SdnBhd has unveiled its operations in Myanmar. With its local partner, Yoma Strategic Holdings, it plans to building and owning up to 5,000 telecom towes over the next three years.

 
edotco Myanmar aims to benefit from the huge growth potential of the tower market in Myanmar, which is expected to grow from current about 7,900 towers to 29,000 towers by 2024. 
The company plans investment of US$200 million in Myanmar over the next five years.

It operates in Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Pakistan and Myanmar.
