First automated car-wash service 

Md Azhari Zulfaqar Izzat, owner of IRADS Company Auto Detailing Centre, said around B$300,000 of the investment was used to buy the AUTEC Shine Express Polisher, making it the first company in Brunei to offer an automated car cleaning and polishing service.
“We want to provide convenience for car owners in the country. With our polishing machine, we can wash the interior and exterior of the vehicle in an hour and half,” he said.
The car-wash service also includes cleaning the vehicle’s engine.
The annual promotion package, priced from $320-$460 per vehicle, can help customers cut maintenance cost.
“If you have a medium-sized vehicle, it will only cost you $360 a year. Not only that, with the promotion package, you get AUTEC Shine Express Polish service for three times a year,” he said.
A customer availing of the promo can also get exterior wash and interior cleaning 15 times a year and unlimited exterior car-wash service for one year.
The unlimited car wash service is equivalent to paying $1 per day for one year.
“There are customers washing their cars every day because they bought the promotion package,” he said.
The shop also offers paint correction service and charges around $400 to repaint the whole car.
“But if you have a scratch on one door, we can give a reasonable price [which is] from $10 to $30. The charge will depend on how deep the scratches are,” he said.
IRADS’ general manager Shoeb Junaidi said the shop got around 150 customers a month. Most of them avail of the polishing service. 
Walk-in customers can opt to avail of the polishing service. It will cost from $60-$120, depending on the size of the vehicle.
Automated polishing remains the shop’s most popular service because it’s the first in Brunei, he said.
