Fashion brand F&F has heated up anticipation for the coming season with its “24 Hours Summer” collection of inexpensive, ready-to-wear togs for both men and women.
Teenage girls will love the colourful gear inspired by California surfers of the 1960s. There are floral-print mini-dresses, blouses, vivid shorts and of course one-piece swimsuits and sexy bikinis. The key colours are pink, purple, turquoise and “old rose”.
The “Modern Graphic” line goes for elegance with graphics printed on minimalist outfits.
Then there’s a collection that mixes traditional culture from Latin America and the African Caribbean with British style, as seen at the annual Notting Hill Festival. Tribal graphics add to the exotic feel and stitched details meet the sophistication of vintage jewellery – beaded bracelets and necklaces.
Rock singer-guitarist Joan Jett, once of the Runaways, lends her rebellious appeal to a tough collection of knotted leather and macram
