Our grandparents didn't run away

In the north of France citizens are suffering the aggression and brutality of migrants intent on reaching the UK. There are many thousands of illegal immigrants claiming refugee status and terrorising French families, who are trapped in their own homes in

Those espousing the cause and human rights of the illegal migrants from Africa and the Middle East should consider the rights of the indigenous people.
As residents in Calais are saying, “We did not run away when we were invaded by the German army in the 1940s – we stood our ground. So why are these thousands of migrants running to our country because they are suffering a war in their own countries?” The French were tortured and much of their food was sent to Germany. A  French member of my own family suffered and died from malnutrition while trainloads of food and medicine were passed to the invading army and transported back to “the Fatherland”.
The question being posed in the Southeast of England is what right have these illegal immigrants to invade our country en masse? Our grandparents stayed in their homes when our land and towns were bombed and destroyed in the blitz of 1943. They didn’t claim refugee status, load into boats and flee to America. They stood their ground when pounded with flying bombs and V2 rockets. They stood by their own country. They did not run away.
