1. Start a proper recycling programme. Collect and compost organic matter.
2. Build a complete BTS system on top of a complete subway system, eliminating the need for cars and traffic.
3. Ban plastic bags and styrofoam, which comprise most of our garbage.
4. Bury the spaghetti we call out electrical system underground and plant trees and let them grow to create shade. There is no reason Bangkok can’t be a garden paradise with our warm weather and abundant canal water.
5. Build more parks. We have almost no green space.
6. Let traffic lights run by computer. The traffic police create traffic snarls.
7. Stop wiping out street-food vendors and give them allotted areas to sell affordable food.
8. Extend the riverside promenade the whole way through Bangkok, at least on one side of the river. Waterways should always have public access.
9. Reform the police force. Fire and jail corrupt police officers.
