Other tiger facilities should be checked

But for years the temple was a big tourist attraction and the Thai wildlife authorities did not do any investigation. I suppose out of some reverence for the monks. 
Finally, the poor tigers have been rescued.
My strong appeal to the authorities is to check a big tiger centre on the Eastern Seaboard [name deleted] next, which to me, a wildlife enthusiast and a previous tiger caregiver, is worse than a Guantanamo prison for the tigers there. They may all be in legal possession but their captive management raises questions.
