A leader of the people, for the people, by the people
Abraham Lincoln must be smiling in his grave. He has just gained a new disciple in his image. America has a new leader who believes in government of the people, for the people, by the people. He has overturned a regime of self-interest for the elite, controlled by bankers, for the elite. But the people proved the greater force.
Donald J Trump had the world establishment attacking and ridiculing him for 18 months. The Department of Justice, the FBI, the mainstream media, the Democrat Party, the Republican leadership and the world’s banks did their evil best to dismiss him and they failed. He has been subjected to the toughest test of any of his predecessors, proving him to be a man of strength, character and stamina. He’s exactly the leader the Western world needs to ensure our Christian democracy survives. Those who cherish those values will sleep well tonight. The nonsense of political correctness and the new world order is finished and the nation-state stands supreme.
It is sad that we have lost our great leader here in Thailand. It is sad that King Bhumibol is no longer with us to celebrate a new relationship with the US after so many years of discord. Our King was a King of the people, respected by the whole world. Trump is a man of the people. His success came from the people. He would have considered it a great honour to have an audience with our King. But unfortunately that is not to be.
With Trump, dialogue will replace war, and socio-economics will be assured. In his speech as president-elect he expressed magnanimity, but for sure he will re-establish the rule of law.
Congratulations to Mr Trump and to all the American people who had vision for the future of their country.
