On visa changes, it’s best to expect the worst

I agree with John Arnone when he says it’s not likely the government will go as far as kicking out everyone who has a one-year visa. But since I believe the government has been unfair to expats and it has made that threat, I think we have to take it seriously. Or is it better to just tell ourselves: “Oh, they don’t really mean it”, and then find out later that maybe they did?
