Sneakers with the “Max”

Nike is celebrating the 30th birthday of its much-loved Air Max sneakers by launching a special Air Max 1 Master edition on March 26 at the Air Max X Carnival Pop Up shop in J Avenue Thonglor.

“To celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Air Max, the team took a revolutionary approach to put the most coveted ‘Holy Grails’ into one shoe in the form of the Air Max 1 Master,” says Pannee Santiwiwatkul, marketing manager of Nike (Thailand).

Priced at Bt5,800, the Air Max 1 Master series has merged the iconic designs of several Air Max 1 generations including the two-tone, heavy suede from Air Max 1 Safari, the elephant print of Air Max 1 Elephant, and the red-and-blue suede stripes from OG Air Max 1.

There is a reminiscence of premium leather with swoosh detailing throughout the upper, a nod from the Air Max 1 Beast, Kid Robot x Air Max 1, Atmos x Air Max 1 Supreme Safari, Parra x Air Max 1 Amsterdam, Clot x Air Max 1 NL and Atmos x Air Max 1 B Viotech.
