True unmoved by my plea to halt privacy invasion

Re: “Quit invading customers’ privacy, TrueMove”, Have Your Say, yesterday.

I want to express thanks to The Nation for publishing my letter concerning problems with TrueMove’s unsolicited ads. On a side note, I miss the old format of The Nation online, where anyone could enter comments. Since the 2014 coup d’etat, that feature has been deleted. Yet another sign of press restriction by the unelected Thai government.
A reader who read my complaint yesterday kindly emailed me and suggested I call *137 at TrueMove, in order to get them to quit harassing me (and millions of others) with unsolicited ads. I called, and there was no English language option available. The instruction to dial the number 9 for English didn’t work. I don’t have a Thai-speaking person on hand. So I am still suffering from multiple unwanted invasions of privacy daily by TrueMove.
