Many letter writers ignore issues that are relevant to Thailand

Why does The Nation keep printing daily diatribes by a very few individuals who write to satisfy their own egos?

The Nation is a Thai, not a UK or US newspaper. Those few individuals would be interesting if they complained about ongoing major concerns here, including the expensive watches, animal poaching, the Red Bull heir, the postponed election, the non-arrest of those who are blatantly guilty and so on. That is what a newspaper should do to honour its commitment to provide news, not give voice to vegans versus meat-eaters, the pro and con opinions about political figures not in this country, and various other personal axes to grind.
