<p>I was very sorry to read about what looks like the imminent demise of the Phnom Penh Post as a beacon of independent journalism in the morass of present-day Cambodia.<br />
We are told the editor was fired for publishing an article about ties between the newspaper&rsquo;s new owner and the Hun Sen government.&nbsp;<br />
