Letter should never have seen the light of print
Although I believe that 99.99 per cent of the readers (for once) will agree with me that whoever wrote that letter calling for the killing of all dogs is sick in the head, why dignify such garbage by publishing it?
This is not a freedom-of-speech issue since a newspaper is in no way obligated to print every hate-filled letter it gets – especially if it encourages violence against humans or animals. Whoever wrote this garbage should be banned from this column.
