Sujirat wins fifth silver at Paralympics

Thai badminton athlete Sujirat Pookkham, 34, won the silver medal on Saturday at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.

She lost to Sarina Satomi, world No 2 from Japan, in the finals of the women’s single SH5 badminton with 21-14, 19-21, 13-21.

Thailand has won 4 gold, 5 silver and 7 bronze in the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics so far and is 25th on the medals table.
