Racing cyclists from across Asia will be able experience the MTB competition “Hero Thailand 2020” certified by Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) in Chiang Rai from October 8-11, 2020. The aim is to open an opportunity for Thai cyclists to join the international competition before moving up to other world champion races while supporting the economy of Chiang Rai and promoting sports tourism.
“The investment with ASD Hero Company to host Hero Thailand 2020 is one of NEO’s missions and we are delighted to be joining with new alliances to organize events in the country so that Thais can experience and get close to the world’s top trade fairs and events without going to other places,” said Suhbpong Smithtun, project director of NCC Exhibition Organizer or NEO.
Even though only 800-1,000 cyclists will join the Hero Thailand 2020 next October, the event is regarded as a fantastic opportunity to introduce Chiang Rai and Thailand to cyclists from across the world. The theme of the competition is “Nature’s Charm”
In addition to the main event, several activities will be organized for cyclists and family members, including Hero Kids for 4-12 years old children, concerts, activity booths and meet & greet sessions with the world’s cyclists.
