The United Kingdom has announced it will add Thailand to its travel "red list" on Monday (August 30). Foreigners in red-listed countries are banned from travelling to the UK.
The UK’s Department of Transport said Thailand and Montenegro were being added to the red list to reflect their increased rate of Covid-19 cases.
British and Irish nationals as well as residents of the UK are permitted to travel from red list countries but face 10 days in hotel quarantine on arrival.
