The cool season will soon see Mae Hong Son’s Thung Bua Tong field turn bright gold from thousands of blooming marigold flowers.

The 500-rai (80-hectare) field located in Khun Yuam district is usually covered in marigold flowers from November 15 to 25.

Adventurous travellers also have the option of setting up camp at the field.
