Government Savings Bank offers help to Korat shooting victims
The Government Savings Bank (GSB) on Monday (February 10) announced financial assistance for victims of the mass shooting in Nakhon Ratchasima province over the weekend that resulted in 30 deaths and left 58 injured.
All debts of police and military personnel who died will be written off and their families will receive Bt100,000 as financial aid.
Civilians who died and are the bank’s debtors will have their interest rate adjusted down to 0.01 per cent for the rest of the repayment term.
Critically injured persons who are the bank’s debtors will have their interest rate adjusted down to 0.01 per cent for five years.
