CPF delivering food to suspected virus suffers, medical staff

Charoen Pokphand Foods (CPF) has begun delivering food to both individuals suspected of Covid-19 infection and the medical staff taking care of them at public hospitals across the country.

Chief executive Prasit Boondoungprasert announced the “CPF’s Food from the Heart against Covid-19” project on Thursday (March 4), saying it would begin immediately.
Individuals suspected of being infected are urged to register through Line for food deliveries. CPF will crosscheck the list of registered individuals with the Department of Disease Control.
It will then verify the arrangement with recipients via SMS and alert CP Freshmart to deliver food products to their homes from one of the 109 distribution centres across the country. There are 59 in Bangkok.
Public hospitals should register for food delivery at Hotline CP Freshmart 1788.
CPF will deliver three sets of 34 food products, including ready-to-eat meals such as microwavable basil chicken with rice, spaghetti carbonara and shrimp wanton, freshly cooked food with rice and fresh food like chicken meat and pork.
