2nd Army Region warns about fake social media accounts impersonating its chief
The 2nd Army Region has officially confirmed that its commander, Lt Gen Boonsin Padklang, does not use any social media platforms and has issued a warning about fake social media accounts impersonating him.
The announcement, made in a Facebook post on Thursday, follows reports of several social media accounts falsely claiming to represent Boonsin, aiming to deceive the public.
Officials from the 2nd Army Region reiterated, “Boonsin has no personal social media accounts on any platform."
"Any accounts appearing online in his name are fake. Please do not trust or engage with them,” they warned.
