I’d like to add to the examples Robin Grant gave of violence committed by the People’s Democratic Reform Committee prior to the coup.
What about that pro-red-shirt poet who was murdered? Or the PDRC guards who tied up a red-shirt sympathiser at Lumpini Park and threw him into the river, hoping to drown him? There were also numerous incidents of PDRC thugs assaulting people or chasing them out of government buildings when those people were simply trying to make a living.
Finally, when PDRC supporters called for the “eradication” of anyone convicted of lese majeste, they were inciting violence at a level that would have turned Adolph Hitler green with envy!
