He said the main reason for the growth was the green line BTS train, which connects the area to the important business and commercial centres of Sukhumvit, Ploenchit, Silom and Siam.
Other reasons were the relatively low cost of the land, meaning condominium prices can be kept under Bt3.5 million per unit, and the fact that the area is already developed with public utilities and services.
There are also several commercial development projects in the vicinity, such as the Bitec exhibition hall, Bhiraj Tower office building, and the huge Bangkok Mall.
