GULF Partners with Government Sector to Combat Transboundary Haze

Gulf Development Public Company Limited (GULF) has reinforced its steadfast commitment to sustainable business operations integrated with social and environmental stewardship.

In a vital effort to mitigate the impacts of transboundary haze pollution and PM 2.5, GULF has supported air quality monitoring systems and forest firefighting equipment to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, for subsequent delivery to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. This contribution aims to enhance the efficiency of monitoring, tracking, and controlling forest fires in high-risk areas, thereby reducing transboundary haze to elevate air quality and improve the well-being of people in both nations. This initiative aligns seamlessly with the public sector’s cooperative framework under the ‘CLEAR Sky Strategy’.
