Privy Council at full strength after inclusion of Prayut

The appointment of former prime minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has raised the membership strength of the Privy Council to the maximum allowed 18, excluding the president, as mandated by Section 10 of the current Constitution.
Former prime minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has become the latest member of the Privy Council following his appointment by His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn as published in the Royal Gazette with effect from November 30.

His Majesty the King has named General Surayud Chulanont as acting president of the Privy Council to replace General Prem Tinsulanonda who died aged 98 on Sunday.
