The SV12R will be exhibited at the Yuma Motors booth along with the Brabus CLS D6S four-door sedan – which was first unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show this year – the Brabus E6.1 Coupe and the Brabus Smart Ultimate 112 model, a limited edition with only 112 units being manufactured.
However, the spotlight will be on the SV12R Biturbo, which has been crowned the world’s fastest limousine with top speed of 350km/h. It can accelerate from 0-200km/h in 10.3 seconds. The 6.3-litre Bi-turbo V12 engine is capable of developing as much as 800 horsepower and 1,420Nm of torque. It is priced at Bt21.5 million.
Krishnayos Puranasamriddhi, director of Yuma Motors, said the company is investing Bt80 million to participate at the Motor Expo this year and plans to generate Bt200 million sales of its imported luxury and high-performance cars. Its booth will have a 420sqm area.
Apart from Brabus, other brands to be shown at the Yuma Motors booth include Wiseman and 9ff.
“This is the company’s third year as an importer and car dealer for Brabus, Wiesmann and 9ff, which have received great feedbacks from our clients who love high-performance cars that are also of high technology in terms of engine and suspension system upgrades,” he said.
Wiesman models include the Wiesmann MF4s Roadster and the Wiesmann MF5 Roadster. Also featured is the high-performance 9ff 997 Turbo DR640, which can be ordered with 400hp to 1,200hp engines.
Apart from regular sales promotions, Yuma Motors’ promotion at the Motor Expo, also includes a package tour to visit the Brabus and Wiesmann manufacturing factories and test-drive the cars in Germany.
“The supercar and luxurious-car market is affected by external factors like the flood disaster, which has actually affected the overall car demand. The company is slightly affected with a 10-per-cent drop in projected sales, hence it is participating in the Motor Expo with attractive sales promotions. We expect to sell about 25 cars worth Bt200 million, and approximately 80 per cent of the sales will come from the Brabus brand,” Krishnayos said.
