Pioneer launches new STEEZ audio brand for street dancers
For the first time with the penetration into Thailand's street dancer market, Pioneer unveils its latest STEEZ sub-brand of innovative audio gear designed for every style and preference of dancers all across the world.
Loaded with a wide range of DJ and dance functionality, the new STEEZ products include a portable music player (STEEZ PORTABLE), speakers (STEEZ AUDIO) and a headphone (STEEZ HEADPHONE).
Toshiharu, Managing Director of Pioneer Electronics (Thailand), said that the introduction of new STEEZ brand is Pioneer’s latest adjustment to its marketing strategy aimed at capturing Thailand’s street dancer market as the company saw that it still had room to grow and no other player was fully penetrating into this niche market. STEEZ audio products were specially developed for everyone who loved to dance in any style from B-boy, B-girl, hip-hop to popping dances.

The new products in the STEEZ series come in three categories. The STEEZ AUDIO: portable music speakers available in three different sizes to match users’ rehearsal space and environment (STZ-D10S-L, STZ-D10T-G and STZ-D10Z-R). They come with a 2.4 or 3.5 inch LCD display, 4GB internal memory, support for different input devices (via USB, Auxiliary, iPod dock) and compatibility with MP3, WMA, AAC and WAV formats. Powered by either AC or battery, the STEEZ AUDIO can be used both indoors and outdoors without restricting where dancers can perform. Main special features suiting for dance practice include Auto Battle Mode and DJ Mix Mode. The Tempo Control Function allows the adjustment to the playback speed without changing the key. The Dance CUE Function enables playback from a preset point in a track with only a single touch for repeatedly rehearsing a part of the song. A built-on iPod dock allows users to connect and charge their iPod/ iPhone while playing music through the STEEZ AUDIO.
The STEEZ PORTABLE music player NSP-C10P-K comes with a 4GB internal storage and an easy-to-operate touch panel interface for stress-free navigation with the Non-Stop Mix Play function which automatically selects tracks that are close in melody and tempo and automatically adjust beat timing during mixing with effects.
The STEEZ HEADPHONE SE-D10M-W delivers crisp and rich sound with dynamic bass which is great for listening to dance music.
The performance of the new range of STEEZ series can be further enhanced with Pioneer’s MIXTRAX PC Music Management application, allowing users to enjoy the adjustment of the music tempo, choreographed cue points, smart playlists, and more.
