Since Creators Market - a platform where users of the free call and messaging application LINE can create and sell their own unique stickers - was opened to registration on April 17, creator registrations have surpassed 149,000 and more than 30,000 sticke

Registered creator nationalities have reached 124, showing that the platform is used by creators not only in Japan, but throughout the world.
After being reviewed by LINE Corporation, creators’ stickers are made available for sale and purchase on LINE’s Web Store and in-app Sticker Shop. Creators receive about half of sticker sales.
In the three months from May 8, when sticker sales started, to August 7, sales have exceeded 1.23 billion yen (Bt380 million). Purchased sets have expanded to 12.41 million, and 10,000 sticker sets were on sale last week.
The top 10 sticker sets have averaged 22.3 million yen in sales, the top 30 12.9 million yen, the top 100 6.5 million yen and the top 200 4.1 million yen.
As many users continue to purchase sticker sets, the scale of the service has expanded rapidly.
Already 55.5 per cent of stickers on sale have earned 10,000 yen or more, meaning that stickers other than those in the top-grossing ranks are also being purchased and used widely by users, and that individual creators with excellent and creative ideas can earn income through their own self-made stickers.
As LINE’s user base expands globally, the use of LINE stickers is also steadily growing. Along with standard stickers available in every region, LINE also offers localised stickers based on customs and cultures specific to individual regions, as well as locally popular characters.
Stickers available on the LINE platform have exceeded 11,351 sets, including 1,155 official sticker sets and 10,196 creators’ stickers. Stickers sent and received in one day have reached more than 1.8 billion.
As the leading provider of sticker-based communications, LINE will continue its efforts to extend the reach of its communication platform even further throughout the world.
