Thai executives at Toyota Motor Thailand promoted

Starting next year, Toyota Motor Thailand's three main functions - finance, marketing and manufacturing - will be supervised by Thai executive vice presidents.

"TMT is full of talented Thais who are ready to become high-level executives," said Kyoichi Tanada, president of TMT, Toyota Motor Asia Pacific Marketing and Sales, and Toyota Motor Asia Pacific Engineering and Manufacturing. "This is the first time for the company to appoint Thai executive vice presidents for all key operations. It is also the first time that we will welcome a female executive."
TMT announced today that Chatchai Taveesakulvadchara, now senior vice president, would be the executive vice president responsible for the accounting & finance, corporate administration and corporate strategic planning.
The other two newly-appointed executive vice presidents are Vudhigorn Suriyachantananont and Apinont Suchewaboripont. Vudhigorn will be in charge of Public Relations Department - Sustainable Development Department and Marketing Division. Apinont will handle the manufacturing, quality assurance & manufacturing support.
TMT also appointed two new vice presidents, including Pravena Nuntikulvanich, now general manager for finance and accounting. The other is Charoenchai Yingcharoonkit, Samrong plant general manager, is promoted to take charge of manufacturing at Banpho plant.
The promotion will take effect from January 1 onwards.
