The official importer and distributor of Audi vehicles in Thailand has announced plans to open new showrooms and service centres across the country and wants to hear from prospective dealers.
Applications for Audi dealerships are being accepted from August 1-31, said Meister Technik chairman Krisada Lamsam.
“Since Audi Thailand was introduced in March this year, we have enjoyed tremendous response from customers in Bangkok and from the provinces who travelled all the way to the capital to place orders, whether at the Bangkok Motor Show or at the new Phetchburi Road showroom,” he said.
“As a result, our urgent mission is to expand our showroom and service centre network to cover all areas. This will give customers peace of mind and the highest level of confidence in the Audi brand,” Krisada added.
He said Audi aimed to speed up the opening of new showrooms and service centres in provincial areas, serving customers in its four main markets: Chiang Mai, Khon Kaen, Phuket and Chon Buri.
Meister Technik’s chief executive, Grisnagorn Sawettanan, added: “Customer response during the past three months has made the parent company aware of the potential for growth of the Audi brand in Thailand. At the latest executive meeting, we decided to fully support an expansion of our showroom and service centre network.”
According to Grisnagorn, there are four main criteria for dealer selection. They must:
1. Come from the local area.
2. Have adequate knowledge and experience in the auto industry
3. Be team members and ready to serve customers
4. Have three rai of land in a prime, easily accessible location.
“All this must come together quickly and we are open for new dealers and those who have been dealers of other brands before,” he said. Those interested can get more information at 02 023 4888 ext 8813 or at [email protected].
“Our target is to have four upcountry dealers by next year starting from Q1. Meanwhile in Bangkok, the original plan still goes, which is new showrooms in Ram-Indra and Thon Buri, along with the best after-sales service facility in order to create maximum customer satisfaction,” he said.
Audi is staging a sales event called “Q Fascination” at Central Embassy from August 18-20, which will consist of the official launching of the all-new Audi Q5 crossover.
The new Q5, with both petrol and diesel engine choices, will be available for inspection, while the diesel version of the flagship Q7 model will also be launched.
In addition, Audi will also be taking part in the Big Motor Sale 2017 at Bitec from August 19-27.
