Online tour operator Backyard Travel welcomes the summer wedding season with a romantic honeymoon trip to Japan. The eight-day Shinto Shrines and Steaming Onsen: Honeymoon journey begins in Tokyo to take in the ancient amidst the ultra-modern.
Couples will visit the traditional teahouse Nakajima No Chaya and soak in an onsen spring in an old ryokan, and wander through the iconic red Shinto gates of Fushimi Inari shrine. That’s followed by a trip to Hakone national park at the foot of Mount Fuji before speeding off to Kyoto on the shinkansen bullet train.
