Tesco Lotus employs nearly 50,000 full-time staff around the country.
“We support the government policy to bring pay for our colleagues in the remaining 70 provinces in line with the 7 provinces announced in April 2012,” said Aurakanda Attavipach, Human Resources Director of Tesco Lotus.
Tesco Lotus staff at Associate and Senior Associate Level will receive the pay higher than the Government’s new minimum wage. We will also take into account the knock-on effect up to an appropriate cut-off point. As a result, the pay adjustment in January will benefit a large number of Tesco Lotus staff.
“We will continue to make every effort to keep our payscales competitive, in line with our value ‘treat people how we like to be treated.’ The new pay rise will not affect any other allowances and benefits already received by Tesco Lotus employees,” added Aurakanda.
