About 200 companies will also exhibit their latest technologies, products and solutions.
Attracting 7,000 delegates and attendees from more than 60 countries, the programme includes more than 150 international experts presenting across eight conference tracks. Economic growth requires energy as its enabler and the power industry is the provider of this vital lifeblood. Balancing this responsibility with the requirement to protect the environment has put the power industry under the spotlight more than ever before.
With this in mind, a plenary panel discussion will take place on Thursday under the topic “Asian Power – 2020 Vision”, as panellists look at how Southeast Asia’s industry is performing and what policies, strategies, fuel choices and technologies will need to be employed in the future.
Delegates will be able to participate by posing questions to the panel. This debate is designed to set the scene and provide context for the remainder of the event.
Power-Gen Asia once again offers a leading line-up of conference speakers from around the world, discussing important topics and issues that are key to the power generation, transmission and distribution industries across the Asean region. The full conference programme can be found at www.powergenasia.com.
As the leading power-industry event in Asia, Power-Gen Asia this year is supported by Thailand’s top industry utilities, government energy organisations and industry trade bodies.
