Due to the increasing influx of expats in Yangon, the school said there should be a more robust option for applicants to the university.
“There are a lot of businesspeople here that want to learn the language. So we are now drawing up courses and curriculums according to our discussions with the lecturers. We are yet to submit it to the ministry,” said a YUFL staff member.
The YUFL offers up to post-graduate courses on multiple languages, including Burmese.
According to the records, 1,363 foreign students have taken YUFL language classes so far.
