ReadyPlanet acquires e-Travel Marketing

ReadyPlanet has acquired e-Travel Marketing to expand its business into tourism and hotel markets. 

The firm expects revenue Bt560 million or gain business growth from last year around 40 per cent by the end of this year.
Songyot Kanthamanon, CEO at ReadyPlanet said that the firm has acquired e-Travel Marketing, an online marketing service provider that designed to support hotel and tourism industries, at the acquisition ration 52 per cent.

With the acquisition, the firm expects that it would expand its digital marketing solutions, and online channel management, cover tourism and hotel industries. The firm also expects to acquire 100 per cent acquisition with in the next couple years.
"ReadyPlanet has invested in e-Travel Marketing to reach tourism and hotel industries. The new business brings in over 10 years of expertise from e-Travel Marketing to manage and overcome challenges facing hotel business operators of over Bt640 billion market value and expansion of rooms over 11.48 per cent growth," said CEO. 

Chatchai Thaweedej, managing director of e-Travel Marketing​ said that that the tourism industry is high potential growth. According to a study of hotel reservation behaviour conducted by e-Travel Marketing reported that 15 per cent of customers book a room directly with the hotel while another 42 per cent reserves rooms from Travel Agents.

The other 43 per cent of customers reserves rooms from the OTA. There are a large number of hotel operators who facing challenges in online marketing factors from capable team who truly understands online marketing, as well as lacking of tools and technology knowledge.
