Warning over ‘inaccurate’ photos

Warning over ‘inaccurate’ photos

THE INTERNAL Security Operations Command (Isoc) yesterday warned online users to stop sharing inaccurate photos related to the Royal Cremation rites.

Isoc spokesman Maj-General Pirawat Saengthong held a press conference to issue the warning.
Pirawat said online users have been sharing some inaccurate photos related to the royal rites. For example, on Friday some people were sharing the photos of relics of the late supreme patriarch from December 17, 2015 as those of His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Aduluyadej.
The spokesman urged online users to inform the authorities on the @Isoc Line ID if they encounter inaccurate photos related to the royal rites.
Meanwhile, the areas around the Royal Cremation Ground has returned to normality after the Royal Ceremony of HM the Late King was completed since Thursday and Friday.
Most roads, closed during the ceremony, have resumed to function.
The Royal Cremation Ground, better known as Sanam Luang, however, remained restricted. Mourners wishing to get inside to pay respect to the late king were required to present their identification card as well as wear proper attire.
Normal life of the people and commuters have also been resumed for the most parts, although security officers would stand guard around the areas throughout the mourning period setting to end tomorrow.
