The Supreme Court rejected rock star Seksan “Sek Loso” Sukphimai's appeal on Thursday and upheld the lower court’s verdict.

The rock star was immediately taken into custody and removed to Minburi Remand Prison. However, he was granted bail by the Min Buri Criminal Court later in the day.

Seksan was arrested at his home on December 31, 2017, for allegedly shooting a gun inside a temple compound in Nakhon Si Thammarat as well as resisting arrest.

He was also charged with being in illegal possession of a gun and ammunition, carrying weapons in public without a justifiable reason and shooting in public without justifiable reason.

Seksan was initially sentenced to two years and 21 months, but the Appeals Court later reduced his sentence by three months to 2 years and 18 months in prison.

Seksan was granted bail for a guarantee of Bt500,000 on October 25, 2018, so he could take his appeal to Supreme Court.
