Pic of Benz being charged for free in Parliament sparks anger online

The Thai social media was bubbling over again after the photograph of an S-class Mercedez Benz owned by a coalition MP was shown charging in the Parliament complex.

Guards said this car is charged for free quite frequently without permission or even acknowledgment by officers.

Meanwhile, Pornpit Petchcharoen, deputy secretary-general of the House of Representatives, said the secretariat has never allowed any MP or government official to recharge their private cars in Parliament.

He added that this matter will be examined and members will be told to follow Parliament regulations.

Parliamentarians are frequently caught causing problems for others. Just recently, some MPs were slammed on social media for using disabled parking.
