Sideway-up direction
The Thai stock exchange may move sideway up next week, said Kasikorn Research Centre.
Volatility will remain, it said, but the index has a chance to rise. Factors to watch is the US Federal Open Market Committee as well as the indicators of US retail sale and consumer confidence.
The SET index in the week should not fall below 1,274 points. Major resistance levels are estimated at 1,347-1,380 points.
The market ended last week at 1,336 points.
