Travel ban was first dreamt up by Obama, not Trump
Re: “US Supreme Court gives bigotry a leg up”, Editorial, yesterday.
May I be permitted two nit-pickings at your editorial?
First: It was outgoing President Obama who initiated the travel ban proposal, so your headline should more accurately read, “President Trump crows as Obama’s travel ban is muscled in”.
Second: the last time I checked, there were no “desperate refugees” fleeing Iran, and those from Yemen are heading for the Horn of Africa, not the United States.
