The Diptyque Afternoon Tea” will be available exclusively in the gilded splendour of the Oscar Wilde Bar until the end of September.
Executive pastry chef Sarah Barber introduces four new sweet delicacies in conjunction with Diptyque, each one using the flavours and ingredients found in four of their scents.
Rose Victoria is a Victoria sponge with a raspberry and rose jam and a lychee and rose mousse, topped with silver leaf and crystallised rose, Tahitian Vanilla Bar is a vanilla sponge topped with hazelnut praline feuillatine and a Valrhona ‘Opalys’ ganache.
Violet and Cassis Tart meanwhile boasts a violet cream and blackcurrant jam and Lemon Verbena, a verveine infused lemon cream with an orange cremeux on a sable Breton base.
Guests ordering the diptyque Afternoon Tea will receive a beautifully gift packaged 70-gram Baies candle to take away.

The diptyque Afternoon Tea is priced at 60 pounds (Bt2,575) and 65 pounds paired with a glass of Laurent-Perrier NV. It is available from 2pm to 5pm from Monday to Wednesday and from noon until 5pm Thursday to Sunday.
