The former school has been transformed into an open-ended art space where urban families can work alongside and learn from practising artists.
It’s open every Friday through Sunday until December 3, daily from 11 to 11.
Adults and children alike are welcome to spend time enjoying the activities. The Freeform Festival is the brainchild of Ruamporn Thavornathiwas, founder and managing director of Titotito, and Pruitsatorn Sakulthai, design director at PIA.
The organisers are also associated with the Bangkok Design Festival, part of which will be held at the same venue.
Here are some highlights of the programme.
* Rice Bar is a pop-up rice field where each Sunday visitors can sample a dozen varieties of rice as cooked by Michelin-star chefs.
* Bit.Theme Park has interactive games organised as part of the Bangkok Design Festival.
* Sound Lab is a place you can create your own sonic landscape.
* Colour Room is built for painting and fully stocked with brushes and surfaces in need of decoration.
