Two people were injured during a bid by state officials to take back rally sites from antigovernment protesters in Bangkok Friday, the city's Erawan Emergency Centre reported.
At about 2pm, the centre said a 30yearold and a 52yearold woman, each sustained a leg wound, sought medical treatments at hospitals following the giant firecracker explosion at Makkhawan Rangsan Bridge area.
