PM to reveal today more information on emergency decree
Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha on Wednesday (March 25) afternoon will give more details of the emergency decree that comes into effect on March 26, Deputy PM Wissanu Krea-ngam said.
The premier said after a Cabinet meeting on Tuesday that the government will declare a state of emergency from March 26. However the issue of ordering a curfew was not discussed in the Cabinet meeting.
Thailand's total number of Covid-19 cases rose to 934, after 107 new infections were confirmed over a 24-hour period, Dr Taweesin Visanuyothin, spokesman for the Ministry of Public Health, said on Wednesday (March 25).
