Acer Computer Co Ltd Associate Director, Consumer Product Management Division Boonchai Ngouvisitkul said that the design and appearance of the Acer Aspire S3 Ultrabook™ had been inspired by the hummingbird because of this bird's size, speed and remarkable capabilities. The Acer Aspire S3 Ultrabook™ has a 13.3-inch Thin LED screen and was ultra thin, being just 13 millimeters thick, and extremely lightweight at just 1.33 kilograms.
He added that the Acer Aspire S3 Ultrabook™ came with a strong magnesium alloy case with an aesthetically-pleasing design when viewed from any angle. When opened up, this ultrabook displays a smooth finish with an expanded touch pad and a chiclet keyboard that was comfortable to use while there was a seamless battery connection at the rear of the unit, Mr. Boonchai noted.
