LG diversifies smartphone line-up with User-friendly LG Optimus Sol and LG Optimus Hub

Running on the Android 2.3 Gingerbread platform, the LG Optimus Sol offers a 9.8mm slim design and superb performance, while the LG Optimus Hub features enhanced media-sharing features and extended battery life.

LG Optimus Sol

With a depth of only 9.8mm, the LG Optimus Sol boasts a sophisticated design, solid feel and enhanced user experience. Users can enjoy a great web browsing performance thanks to the 1GHz CPU, as well as enhanced Flash 10.1 on a 3.8-inch WVGA display with a superior color gamut of the Ultra AMOLED technology.

 

The device uses an enhanced idle-based power management system that boosts battery life up to 30 per cent. With the Dark UI selected, the Optimus Sol utilizes less white light in order to extend the battery life performance. The phone includes a 5.0MP camera for fast auto-shuttering, auto-focusing and shot-to-shot. Users can also take full advantage of multimedia connectivity via onscreen links to DLNA and Wi-Fi Direct.

 

LG Optimus Hub

The LG Optimus Hub employs a 550nit 3.5-inch HVGA display for optimal visibility whether indoors or under strong sunlight. The device’s Wi-Fi Cast feature enables wireless sharing of content, such as movies, songs and photos, between mobile devices. The easy-to-use Smart Share UI (DLNA) feature enables seamless content sharing between mobile phones and TVs. And, finally, the On-screen Phone feature enables content sharing between mobile phones and PCs.

 

LG has also boosted the battery efficiency of the LG Optimus Hub by adding idle-based power management, increasing the new smartphone’s battery life by over 30%. In addition, the optimized fluent touch reaction feature enables the Optimus Hub to respond instantly to users’ input for a higher touch refresh rate.
