GM names new communications chief for SE Asia

General Motors Thailand/SEA and Chevrolet Sales Thailand has appointed Laurent Berthet as the new director of Communications Southeast Asia, effective April 1, 2012.
Berthet will be taking over the task from Sasinan Allmand. Currently the Communications Director for Chevrolet in France, he is a GM veteran, having held a number of senior communications positions across Europe since 2003.
"Communications is a vital function for our business as we continue to grow aggressively in this region. With his extensive experience and familiarity with the brand, Laurent is a great addition to the team and will help us with moving the communications needle even further," said Martin Apfel, President, GM Thailand/SEA and Chevrolet Sales Thailand.
