CPN launches innovative digital platform

Tribe marketing will be executed through new media to create connections between online and offline target groups.

 

Central Pattana Public Company Limited (CPN), Thailand's largest retail developer, has launched an innovative digital marketing platform and announced new campaigns to boost sales during the summer. ‘Summer Selected’ will be held at CentralWorld while ‘Fashionista Hits World Game’ will be held at CentralPlazas and CentralFestivals. The new marketing platform and new campaigns underscore CPN’s leadership in the retail market and highlight its commitment to offering new and exciting experiences to its customers. The new digital platform includes the Shop @ Central application, which enables customers to get real-time information about new stores and offerings through their mobile devices like smartphones or tablet computers. Also, for the first time in the Thai retail industry, customers can enter lucky draws without having to fill out coupons through the CRM ‘CPN Click’ program, which will be offered as part of the upcoming summer campaigns. The new program will correspond with changing consumer behaviours and customer lifestyles.

We have kicked off by launching a new digital marketing tool that will help us become an innovative leader in the retail market during the summer campaigns. Our new tool will help raise campaign awareness and connect our online and offline target groups. The two new applications will help foster bonding and engagement between out shopping centres and customers. With tribe marketing executed through new media, we are attempting to create customised communities that are loyal to our brand.” 
 
In addition to launching new applications, CPN today also announced its Summer 2012 campaigns: ‘Summer Selected’ at CentralWorld and ‘Fashionista Hits World Game’ at CentralPlaza and CentralFestival. During the summer, CPN’s shopping centres are the favourite destinations for families to hang out and spend time together. Our shopping centres have always played a major role in showcasing the latest trends through our summer campaigns. Our campaigns this year will be focused on lifestyles, travel, fashion and sports, all of which are shoppers’ favourites. 
 
CentralPlaza and CentralFestival in cooperation with partners and stores will hold the ‘Fashionista Hits World Game’ campaign from 27 March – 6 May 2012. Customers can go on a fantastic shopping spree while spotting the latest trends. They also stand to win a trip to London. For every 1,000 baht spent, shoppers can register their CPN Click membership and enter the lucky draw without having to fill out the coupons. Customers who are AEON credit card holders or Thai Life Insurance customers will receive triple chances. Customers can also win many instant prizes without having to wait. Moreover, during the ‘Fashionista Hits World Game’ campaign, fashion shows will organised at CentralPlaza and CentralFestival branches nationwide. Customers will also be able to indulge their taste buds in various delicious flavours of ice cream offered during the Ice Cream Festival.

Five sets of tickets (each set consisting of two tickets) will be available. The plane ticket prizes are worth 120,000 baht each. The promotion runs from 30 March to 6 May 2012. For every 1,500 baht spent at CentralWorld and paid using a MasterCard credit card or debit card, customers will receive triple coupons. Customers with MasterCard cards who spend over 40,000 baht will also receive a one-year free WiFi package from dtac.
