New Prius launched for Bt1.199 mn
Toyota Motor Thailand on March 21 launched the new Prius, which will be available for public view at the Bangkok International Motor Show 2012 and 334 showrooms nationwide.
Toyota Prius was introduced in Thailand in 2010. It has attained warm welcome from customers in Thailand like those in the world market with the accumulated sale figure at approximately 2,500,000 units since 1997, accoridng to Toyota.
Coming with 5 colours, the hybrid vehicle calls for the prices of Bt1.199-Bt1.369 million.
The new Prius still comes with compact appearance and state-of-the-art technology that enhance environmental friendliness and lower fuel consumption. Such features include the hybrid system with work by using an electric battery or a gasoline motor coupled with electric batteries, the application of reusable materials in assembly, and the adoption of advanced technology to offer an enhance driving enjoyment.
It also features solar roof, which turns solar energy to be an electric power for the ventilation system, as well as the remote air-conditioning system powered by the hybrid battery source.
