Uthai joined MST in 2003 as assistant public relations manager and played an important role in PR management for Mazda in Thailand.
He graduated from Ramkhamhaeng University, and worked with market-research company Automotive Resources Asia in 1994 as well as Automotive Communications Asia, which handled public relations for companies like Ford, Mazda, Lucas and BITEC, in 2000.
“In order to ensure that Mazda’s operations flow smoothly and effectively for both the organisation and dealerships, as well as develop the potential of the company’s Thai employees and, most importantly, move in harmony with the ‘One Mazda’ philosophy, we have promoted Mr Uthai from assistant manager to manager, and appointed Ms Nichawan Chivakiatyingyong as the new assistant manager,” MST marketing director Sureethip La-Ongthong Chomthongdee said.
“Apart from his vast knowledge and capability, as well as long-term experience in the communications and public relations fields, Mr Uthai is well loved by the media and has been responsible for our communications activities from the start,” she added.
Said Uthai: “I am thankful that the management has given tremendous importance to public relations and sees the capability that I have to offer. I hope to grab the opportunity in becoming a part of the company’s future growth in Thailand.”
The other Thai managers at MST include marketing communications manager Panupong Atthaprapas and product manager Thee Permpongphan.
