AG Cars to sell Italian yachts
AG Cars, a well-known independent importer, is expanding into the marine business by becoming the official distributor for Cranchi yachts from Italy.
Wirat Pholpradub, president of AG Cars and Marine as well as Ssangyong (Thailand), said AG Cars has ventured into the yacht business. AG Cars and Marine has been appointed the sole distributor of Cranchi yachts by Cante re Nautico Cranchi.
“Cranchi is an old brand that started since 1866 and is well known among yachters. They have four factories in Italy and their sales network covers North America, Europe and Asia,” he said.
Prices range from Bt10 million to more than Bt100 million, he added.
Meanwhile for Ssangyong, Wirat said that sales are expected to reach 1,000 vehicles this year, while imported car sales by AG Group would reach 300 units. Last year, the company sold 900 Ssangyong vehicles and 220 imported vehicles.
